Hello Madcatter :) A really wonderful spiral. I love it. Again your colours are so wonderfully balanced. FYI: Damask is a word of arabian roots, meaning it to be related to the old old city of Damaskus where this weaving technique is said to have been invented. Very seldomly you can find another word related to that city: Damascene steel. Same story behind it, they are said to have invented a specific manufacturing of steel, especially for weapons like sabres and all that. So you are wayyyyyyy on the safe site and nawwwt using a russian word, LOL ;) cheers, Valerie :)
