G'day.
these are some of the leaves from an Australian Eucalyptus Tree.
When the leaves get old they sometimes turn yellow or red and fall off.This is normally an evergreen tree but it does shed "some" of its leaves in times of drought and stress.
And, yep we are in a drought at the momment here in Oz.
