Thank you all for the comments on this picture. It means a lot to mean. It's funny how life has it's twists and turns. I think we all need to tell each other we love each other without any form of embarrassment. I was told 3 hours ago that a friend of mine for 37 years committed suicide. He shot himself with a 45. I need to take the time and try to remember the last time I seen him. It was at the end of last year. I talked to him In mid January and asked if he could help me move. He told me he had gone to the Doctor and was told he had a Chemical imbalance. They put him on pills. He said he was shaking and had a hard time out in public and he was having to leave work early because of his condition. I told him it was in his head and he needed to get out and I needed to see him. I told him to cut out the drinking and maybe see a hypnotist on the depression. He thought it was a good idea. a couple weeks went by. I talked to him on the phone and he said he was doing better. I asked what was causing the depression? He told me he had gone to the bar to get out and when he left the bar, on three occassions his truck was broken into and his tools were stolen. I never dreamed his life would end this way. He was very religious and told me I had to believe in Christ to go to Heaven. I told his Sister and Mother about our conversations and it made them feel better. They believe you can still go to Heaven if you commit suicide, but they don't think you can if you don't believe in Jesus. I told them: "I know he believed in Jesus" This picture was my first painting posted with my computer images. It feels fitting that I write this in my comments... This Picture really does have a lot of emotion going into it - I hope you can feel it.

This was very touching when I first looked at it, and as I skimmed through the comments I found you had written more then what was with the image. It has so much more meaning now. All of a sudden, that little emblem with the saying around it became bigger, encompassing more then just my litte circle of loved ones. Interesting how the death of one person I never met, never saw, and will never know, can impact something like this!
