An interesting picture. My major problem with it, though, is that I'm not clear as to who is culling who. Also, it's just a quirk of mine, but I'm always bothered by moons that are so huge in the sky. I'd prefer it to be much smaller. But that's me. There's science reality and artistic reality and from a visual, that is, artistic view, it looks great. I do like your work.

Hey kjer, I had considered about who is doing the cull. So I put in the club as a pointer. Also in the original render the Xeno is larger, so I made him small for another pointer. As for the moon, I always feel that a giant one adds to 'Alien-ess' of another world. :)

Is that like clubbing seals? At least the alien isn't furry with big eyes...I love the landscape. Yeah, the big moons are big geological trouble but they look great.

This would make an excellent book cover. It screams to be one. Really excellent. This is art, man. This would not be the excellent scifi without the huge moon

As to a huge moon, those of us who are astronomy and science affectionados are aware that a moon that large means that the planetary surface is a boiling caldron of atmosphere deprived steri;e magma. The other body could be a plnet with the chracters on a moon: but ... and However, its your picture and you can darned well do what you wanna do. LOL. Dwayne
