Lakeside Reflections (IR) by TwoPynts

"I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze." ~ William Wordsworth
The Morikami Japanese museum is pictured in the background, nestled in the trees. I can't help but wonder what it would have looked like in an IR photograph if it still wore its shiny black roof tiles. Many were damaged during the recent hurricanes and they ended up removing them all. I suppose it was too costly to replace -- a shame. Many of you have mentioned that you don't normally like infrared photos, but that you like some of my shots. Thank you, I take that as a very high compliment, especially since I consider myself still rather new to it. To you I say try not to think of these as an IR photos and just take them on their own merits. If you don't like the photos, don't blame it on them being IR, blame the photographer! ;^P -----
Thanks for your woodsy comments on my uploads from yesterday,

Another Impressive post. Yoru lighting is amazing.
Excellent!
This capture has almost a toy model feel to it, great contrasts ! ~Cheers~
I love reflections, they seem to me a private dance of light and shadow. I love that even the title has a reflection! BJ
How can anybody not like infrared photos? That's like not liking mom and apple pie! This is one fabulous capture; just dig those ghostly reflections and texture of the trees! The clouds are also neato-keeno!
Very beautiful!!!
I got two rolls of infrared file. never used them yet. they in my ice box now callong to me to use them. I will one day. They both black and white too. I like to get the color film to shot some flowers with for I READ THE BEES SEE infrare. So the flowers show it to them and they beam in on the infrare. Plus I have other ideals too. Some one told me they made infrare for spy work to see at night or very little lighting. i see about that too when I start shooting This is cool looking. do you use a red filther?
oh yes, sooooo wonderfull impression! lg. lordlotte
