Description
Gaelic for Storm Clouds.
This was done at 6000 pixels wide for a print and took 177 hours on a new iMac24 inch Duo core. High anti-alias and atmosphere settings. Goodness knows how long that would have taken on a PC, if it hadn't crashed in that time. (that's over 7 days! I think a PC would have hung myself) and I was using the Mac all week for photoshop work and surfing and uploading and it still never crashed. Made with a Mac!
Oh the picture, I quite like it, and if I didn't I wasn't gonna re-render it again lol.

It's a wonderful picture but I could have done without all the Mac/PC crap.
I think you are right a PC using windows would have definitely crashed !! - This is a beautifl scene and well worth the render time !
Definitely one of the very best virtual skies I have seen! I am just about to get into Vue. I had some doubts regarding clouds, however this picture is very encouraging...

This is easily one of the best Vue skies I've ever seen, though the render time does make me cringe....
