Description
This image shows the Towhee closer to its natural habitat, on a very low branch just above the woodland floor. This male bird will kick its feet in the leaves and debris looking for food. They feed almost entirely on the ground. They have several calls and clicks. Hear a few and see the bird, you then remember the sounds of this pretty colored gem of the open woodland floor and leaf covered areas.
I am trying to photo the animals more in habitat as part of the picture and not the entire picture. Getting close enough for a detailed shot has been quite difficult with my equipment and typical lighting
