Description
Hopefully you don't get bored by my dragon images. ;) This was another WIP I had on my harddisk for over a year now and while working on my previous image I decided to give it a go once again to get it finished. It's been inspired by "Moby Dick", which was one of my favorite books when I was a little kid.

Great image Phil. Just to be a bit picky I would love to see a more dramatic angle, perhaps looking along the length of the dragon with the hunters ship coming up from behind, but this no way detracts from this great piece, well done my friend, and keep them dragon images coming!! Steve:)
Stunning action scene! Hope the hunters will not extinct the whole species so you will have the chance to depict a few more dragons :-))

this is really nice (i think the hunters are going to overshoot, having come in too fast, with the dragon in a tight turn, using his tail as an air-brake)

Hard for me to get bored of dragon images, I love the millennium dragon too... even if I do occasionally try to make it look less recognizable =). I really like the new wings you've added to him in your recent images and you've done a great job at blending them in and making them belong. Love seeing folks making new "characters" out of that dragon. Excellent scene, think maybe those harpooners may be tackling more than they can handle this time...
