The Terragen Challenge,
I have been working on Texturing on both Terragen and now the new Terragen 2 program. While I am still just now getting a handle on it, I thought you artists might like to see the differences between the 2 programs with the same files both Terrain and textures. It is interesting how the differences look between the 2. This is work in progress and the Terrain "Le Galleria" is the 10 square miles of art galleries we are working on building in a 3D world for the 3D artists of the world in the next few months. This was kinda a side trip for TG2 as I do not need to work in it to build the gallery. But I will do another post after I bring trees, buildings and more into the TG2 world as I am building it in the Ogre & TGEA video game engines. Hang in there artists, we at ATOMIX are working on a new world for you all to play in like none ever before /smiles.

Love the moodiness of the top one (ver .9) the clarity of the bottom one sets a different tone. Excellent work on both.
I think the 0.9 version looks better oddly enough. Probably more to do with the fact that you all know the older version inside out and know how to get the best results from it, unlike TG2 which you're all still learning on.
