Description
Well, we've been stealing things from the 24th Century. Thought we could learn a few things and make some money. Surprisingly, most of the things we've chronoported back here have been worthless objects.
But we've got something with trial number 47. It's a computer screen of some kind, touch-sensitive, called an LCARS, or something like that. Can't make head or tail of the buttons, but the interface seems to be voice-sensitive. Frustratingly, it keeps going on about the 'prime directive', whatever that is, and only gives us 24th-Century fiction. Well, maybe there's money in that, but we have to reference every third word..;)
Just doing some more modeling and UVMapping. What's really silly is getting the screen to work. What you see here is only half the screen (which 'works') but not all the silly references on the top half. Sigh. Well, it would make a good prop, if anyone wants it..Model in Wings, Signeage in Corel Draw...have fun.

Unique presentation XOXOXO (((((bravo)))))
24th Century fiction? surely not science fiction, unless...... very nicely done!
Wow!Superb model!!!
Hmmm 24th century fiction well Vulcan love slave is still the best piece.
One of the things the bosses like about software is when it doesn't follow directions. "Machine code" they call it and relate it to "automatic writing." If only I didn't have deadlines I would show them "puppet fuel." The escalator has arrived at the top. Time to step off. Watch that edge!
I think you need to 'chronoport' a manual!
nice model!
Nice model, and yes, I could never get how anyone could remember what all those buttons did...
Great work. I think we are having as much fun viewing your work as you are creating it pakled! ;-)
Nicely done! I think it looks great as is and wouldn't mind having it for a sci-fi prop. However, I can certainly share your frustration at not having the entire screen that you worked so hard to produce. What's French for "Such is CG art?" Grin.
Does it have Bluetooth? ;)
