Looks every but as good as the day it was made, well preserved piece of history, great capture Stuart
I have been going over and over the Triumph pictures trying to get into my head which is the Bonneville and which the Thunderbird. The Bonny was unit construction 650 with two carbs and the Thunderbird was non-unit with two carbs. Marlon Brando rode his own Thunderbird in "The Wild Ones." It is all because my memory is of a 500 cc unit construction with two carbs when I read the District 37 results and saw a Triumph Thunderbird was #1. The brochure I looked at in 1963 had a "Thunderbird" 500cc, I am sure, but it has disappeared now though the 350cc twin with a big skirt I can find pictures of. I am so happy so see a "Bonneville" with sunbursts and snuffy pipes.
I love everything old. And your bike is no exception. Very cool bike.
Excellent...do you still have this bike...???
Fantastic bike! PaxSV
