Thank you, Cornelia, for your suggestions. I think you were right...it needed more work and here's the result. Looking at the last one now, it looks kinda boring! LOL! Thanks again for your help!

Hehe now this is funny: I think no1 is much better, simpler, more to the point of forms and colours. Its only my personal taste of course, but I cant see any reason for the changed background or the added hue on the white parts of the spiral. Sure, the "lights" now give it more glow, but did it need that? Plus ... the real traditional harlequins here wear pearls and coloured stones, no lights ... Like this its just a bit overloaded in my eyes ... but in yours less boring and thats what counts :) Still a very nice fractal, mind you :) So I pick no1 and you no2 ... btw, I find it an excellent idea to post both versions! :) hugs, Valerie
