Description
I used a new product that has come out for this. Derwent now makes colored graphite pencils. This was my test image for them.
It's not complete yes, as there is a lot more shading needed. But I'm happy enough with it.
My deepest thanks to my friends and fellow artists here, for your continued support both here in the 2d galleries and in Terragen. Your words are always supportive and encouraging.
Be well and have a great weekend.
as always,
Pat

By one word, Pat: Amazing!!!
WOW, Pat when you add color to them they just seem to come alive!!!! Beautiful and Excellent!!!
Such expression in the face, especially her eyes. Oh, those eyes! I think the pencils giver her, if this makes any sense, a 'dusky' look. Wonderful work, Pat! ***** ")
So, what do you think of those new pencils? I have been using them a while here in the UK. Sometimes I think they can be a little harsh, or bold in color don't you? It needs a very fine touch sometimes to get just the right amount of shading, did you find that? This is a great image Pat. I agree with the above comments, that face! Well done. Look forward to seeing more done in this medium. Maybe you would show us this one when it is finished? Hugz
