Description

Kella, the rabbit-derived beastgirl, put the fizzy, frosty cold Jolla soda on the smart table and went back to her book. Her master, Vergun Tkarro ,wanted her to read the ancient tomes and manuscripts about the ancient fortress of Shalmiraine in the original languages. Most of his contemporaries couldn't understand why he didn't just have full computer translation of the books. Kella wondered that, too. Over the past year or so, she began to understand why the computer wasn't translating accurately. It was missing all the idioms. She loved learning things. She looked out the window at the empty city of Taru City. She dreamed of the near empty surface of the world below her. The Blight had laid waste to the humans of Balaam, and had killed almost ninety-five percent of the human species. Starvation and violence had killed most of the rest. Kella had never set foot on solid ground in her life. She had spent her entire life as a pampered slave pet of the rich of the flying cites. She paused and stared out the window and wished she could fly free of the city she was enslaved on. She had read of the other worlds of human-kind and dreamed of space-ships and escaping to someplace. Someplace where they had never heard of slavery. Someplace where her dreams could be made true. Kella sighed in despair and went back to her books. They were all she had. The helperbot asked in it's curiously androgynous voice, "Maam? Are you distressed?" She frowned. "An electricity in the air. A change is coming. Maybe from reading the books, but I feel something about to happen." Helperbot suggested,"Queen Beliza is about to die. Is that what you mean?" Keela smiled grimly and said in a small voice, "No. Something bigger. The world might change in the twinkling of an eye, and I can't wait." She looked out the window and hoped she's see the 'thing' she hoped would come to make the world stand on it's head. She didn't realize she was looking in the wrong direction. media is Poser 6 and Vue 6

Tis but another character entering the storyline. If you've just picked up on this now, you have a lot of back reading to go through! Another twist in the saga illustrated by a fantastic image!

I like this a lot! It's interesting her devotion to books, "all she had". I love books too and I have in my mind since some time a picture I want to make with a similar theme. I find it great to see part of the city from the window. This is a great scene.
