Description
Taken on Gozo 2 years ago, this is part of the blessing of the statue of Mary. Each year the statue is blessed and carried around the town (Victoria) on the shoulders of the locals. There are Fireworks and a huge celebration, quite an experience to go and see, both my kids stayed awake - the carrying of the statue starts around midnight and the fireworks are 'close' to say the least.
Taken with a Zenith Em, no flash just a long exposure and a steady hand (can't remember if this was 1/30th or 1/15th?)
