Description
I only seem to get inspiration anymore when I have to follow guidelines...like for a contest or monthly challenge.
This one was made for FW Magazine's first contest to win a signed A1 print from Paul Gerrard. Thought that was a cool prize.
The image was suppose to be of a corrosion collector. Mine turned a bit surrealistic and falls a bit outside the theme but I like it anyway.
Head and hand ornaments from RDNA. Postwork in PSPXI. Jartnia texture on David. Sunset feebie.
I want to send a big thank you to all my friends here at Renderosity who have been so supportive and encouraging to me. It is truly appreciated. Thank you.

Well, you surely did a great job here. Congratulation on the fist price.(at least in my eyes you have won it)
Thank you but, no, I did not win. Good news is that my friend Bea did. She's busy picking out the print and I'm waiting to hear which one she chose. I'm so happy for her...congrats Bea!
This one is fantastic ! Reminds me of the quote from the Bahgadavita "I am become death, the destroyer of worlds"

Nice Science fiction image.... One day I'll catch up to you... My work is still a little stiff and technical... I'm still fallowing the "lines"
Fantastic composition. Great atmosphere. It looks like a cover for a sci-fi novel. The lightnings look wonderful. I was about to wish you good luck but I see I'm late for that... You can only work with guidelines, eh? I have a few guidelines for you but I'm afraid you won't follow them. 8-) I hope your muse comes back to you soon!
Mr Rust looks right at home, sucking corrosion outta this strange structure ! surreal and very kool scene/character Nancy, you deserve a mention for this entry at least ! LOL & Cheers
It's excellent, god knows what the winning pic looked like if this didn't win nice one thong twanger xx
Superb work of art!!! There is nothing wrong with a bit of surrealism :)
Another .... interesting image! If you need to be inspired, check out Darker Projects at http://www.darkerprojects.com/darkmatter.html They got tons of free audio .mp3s with Twlight Zone-like dramas. Just have it playing in the background....!
As a Connoisseur of Rust, I would have to say the Judge's must have been out of their Collectively Corroded Minds not choosing yours Nancy. This is absolutely Superlative Work and a definate Fav & Peace
Awesome image Nancy!! Great lighting and imagination! Can't wait to see Bea's winning entry!!!!!!!
That is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!! That should be a poster for a movie or book. Great stuff.
Thanks everyone, you are way too kind and always supportive. It means so much to me. The quality of the work for the contest was not important. It was the theme that was and how well you kept within it. That way everyone had a chance to win.
WOW! This would make a great book cover indeed! Nice composition and dramatic elements.
Too bad Nancy. Perhaps the judges were not looking for surrealism. Who knows? It's still a beautiful image. I like it too. Congrats to your friend Bea though. S
Stunning image! Wonderfully creative and cleverly done! Excellent work
Super kool, I really like this. Hope there are more contests you go for. As far as I'm concered...you win.
