Excellent capture of this flying bug. Wonderful colors and light too!
A great capture Luis! And this is a moth, but I do not know the name. Like dragonflies and humming birds, not easy! Cheers!
Great capture Luis, very hard to catch insects in flight, you have done very well Stuart
Wowwww, excellent timing in this insect and very beautiful color !!! Good day Vecino mio and hugs :)
Delicious colours as you can present some to us so well!
Large moth, maybe? I would have a hard time standing still while this creature came this close to me! But it's a great shot, considering how fast they must be!
Nice capture, it is realy hard to capture!
I've always thought photographing bugs would be great but you are right! They won't stay still any longer than a hyperactive 5 year old child! Great job with this one.
I agree insects are just as "flighty" as other animals when it comes to staying still long enough to capture them on film. I've been told ths guy is a hummingbird moth. He probably has a more formal name but that's what I was told. They are a moth but sound and act so much like hummingbirds I assume that's how he got his name.
Great timing, no way I could have done this yet. I have a good excuse, these moths are not very common where I live.
Nice action shot Luis. ;-)
Excellente capture!
