Description
Sorry for no posts, I have been and still am terribley sick! (Sniff, sniff!) Anyway I just didn't feel like doing any postwork! But I managed for this one!
Red Sonja was a adventurous, strong female even before it was stylish to be so! In my opinion she was instrumental in the geek culture of my generation for promoting women's lib (You don't even hear that phrase anymore!!) After all WW and Supergirl didn't do so well in the 70's and 80's!
Anyway, here's to the girl's may they always have big swords, big guns and big...er...otherthings! :)
This isn't so much a rant as a statement of how much the world has changed in my lifetime, so far! Yup I tell my son's about Pong and asteroids how much fun it was and how cool it all was and now I do art on my own home PC!!

Ahhhhhhhh yes, women's lib and bra burning....those were the days (and for the record, I was too young to be wearing a bra to burn :P ). My son laughed at me when I explained Pong to him. Darn kids these days. Awesome image. Even her big erm, otherthings.
This is excellent, and I hope you get better real soon.
I don't see any big other things here...do see a pair of big guns though. :D Get well soon, but if you can do this while sick, we've got some treats in store this year. :)
Very nice image! She is gorgeous and I love the sword! Excellent outfit! Very nice, get better soon!:)
gorgeous render love the sword and how she is posed with it
Things certainly have changed indeed! One thing that remains is that classic genre we all know and love as fantasy. It's good to see you post your magic again and I hope you feel better soon! Not a great time of the year to be sick! Fantastic scne here, that outfit is probably one of my all time favorties - and that will probably never change! Excellent work!
Red Sonya is a great character, and she looks great here, well done! As for pong, I was a little too young for it myself, more of a Sega kid myself...
Beautiful and deadly. I'm kneeling ot you sire. Teach me your secrets :-) JnW
Great work! Love the outfit too! Get well soon!
fanatstic image
Wow!!! Really, really great! Instant fav!!!
I played pong... strange how far things have come now adays. Now we can play WOW and make our characters do almost anything we can as humans. This is a lovely render including the outfit and sword...I like the like effect..
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope your feeling better. ^_^
Looks spiff! You have to tell me what that hair is!
Wow! And isn't it interesting that most of the pop culture strong women came started out in fantasy? (hope you feel better soon!)
Great Likeness.... Just the way I remember her from the comics.
Bad movie, but great character. Nice!

She looks so tough w/pose, red hair, awesome background and my favorite - that facial expression. Fantastic job!
The movie was not so bad ;) And the picture is very good !!!
Fantastic image! She's stunning! Excellent version of Howard's barbarian babe! Wonderful light effects!
You do the character so well, yeah long before Xena there was Red Sonja! Sorry you're not feeling well but I'm glad you found the strength to share something with us! Get well soon buddy.
Absolutely stunning!! Love the lighting, costume, and the dastardly looking blade!!
Excellent render, superb in everything, pose, content, detail and lighting. I am a big fan of Sonja, along with other fantasy women (especially Raven - Sword Mistress of the Dark) but an even bigger fan of the main man - Conan. Stay safe my friend Kev
Wow, absolutly brilliant.
