Description
B_Peacock's beautiful Ashley (with Blackhearted's Girl Next Door body)posing for me, trying to copy a Boris calendar picture. I'm a big fan of Boris--I have friends who complain "he's not as good as Frazetta", and I could explain in boring detail why he's coming from a different psychological place than Frazetta, (I wrote my college thesis on SF and Fantasy Illustration), and why I like him. But the short story is that he is an amazing painter of color and landscape, even if you tossed out the people. Here I didn't want to duplicate his brushwork, so I just made it a photo shoot and had a good time posing Ashley. She's over on the Commune and I think she looks like Elizabeth Hurley. She is gorgeous!

Just love it, Cakes !!! Mikey :O)
Very beautiful my friend
A gorgeous image!!Excellent job!
Really beautiful image!!!
To say one artist is better than another you would be not adding anything but a point of view as like the differ between fruit and vegies, or styles of car. And Lynn, your work once again becomes something else again. Even when going for a syle other than yours, your style still shows strong , from the blending of the backgrond to the highlights on the armour. Art is a point of view, and I like yours :)
I'm a big fan of Boris and Frazetta and YOU :) Love the skin-coloring and it's a wonderful nice-colored scene and presentation!!

This is just breathtaking!
Beautiful work! I really like the detail of the page coming undone on the left corner. A beautiful image.
Your work is fantastic Lynn. Very profesional. I enjoy the paint buckets on this one. Very original idea that makes a difference. The background looks really cool. Especially the idea of the tape in the upper left corner. It makes it look like a poster about to drop down from the wall :). Love the female warrior too.
Very exciting and professional work.
I'd love to know how you got the Boris look to the color and lighting, he's one of my faves as well, he seems to capture something very mythical in his work that's different than Frazzetta, Suydam, Micheal Whelan, or Royo.
Beautiful and perfect work. I like it very much ;)
