Description

This one is dedicated to "3DGuy"...and is based on his pillar tgd which is available at Planetside. Without it, I would never have been able to figure out how to make these formations...Thanks! Terrain: Technique based on Pillar2 TGD by 3DGuy Postwork: sharpening and planet tweaking ( for some reason, planets at the edge of a wide angle view render somewhat squashed) Enjoy!

Very special image :-) The squashed shape of planets is a perfectly natural thing for a wideangle lens, it also happens in real photo's ;-)

I have seen geological shapes like this in pictures of the north African desert except their color, and that of the surrounding terrain was whitish/sandy. You are making good progress working with the program John.

All I know is this has something to do with "displacement." Maybe I will never figure it out! Super cool work!
