Description
A fanart wallpaper of my favorite Teen Robot, XJ9, aka Jenny Wakeman. I was NOT satisfied with how my first try looked. I redid the head and blue pigtails somewhat. She has more authentic looking cheekbones now, that do not look ugly.
Capturing a character's "feel" in a CGI is terribly difficult, especially if you aren't transferring the same style. One of the Nick promo shots had a CGI Jenny along side of other characters in the line-up for that time-slot done in the same style as the cartoon.
"Feel" is an intangible, slippery thing without measurable substance and is subjective. Finally I have a character that captures the personality and feel of XJ9. I hope it woks for you,too.
