Description
Coloured pencil on Strathmore, ca 1978-1980
Adapted from a pen & ink sketch by Frazetta, created for Edgar Rice Burroughs' "Princess of Mars."
Here's a twist on my old theme: instead of going from an oil painting to pencil or p&i, I went from p&i to coloured pencil. Not stellar, but hey, I was probably 14 when I did this, and likely sick as a dog (when I did most of my drawing back then).
Hey! When is Peter Jackson going to turn this Burroughs series into a kick-butt film series?

It's quite a picture made by a 14 year old kid! Sexy lady with a horrible monster - classic theme! Very well drawn.
great artwork +++++
