My little knowledge tells me that Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement with regard to form, harmony and balance ... What is seen here is Form, Harmony and Balance presented in an arabic essence ... So why not calling it a reformulation of the Japanese Ikebana to an Arabic / Islamic "Ikekatachi Jutsu" or "the art of making life to form" ... Giving life and meaning to art forms through the Arabic Inscriptions. [Innovative TABLEWARE]... Good Luck
Well the real name of the design is the calligraphy gardens,..its a blend of three art schools ,..the ikebana, zen gardens and the Arabic islamic calligraphy,developed in a new form of ikebana design principles in a cosmogenic zen garden visualizing a romantic image of the night time with the crescent lightening the boats (cups) floating on the calligraphy,..a heitage artifact refelcting the depth of the oriental cultures fused together
