wowwww, impressiv work and excellent composition and color, I like!!! Good day ;)
As always, another work of art...
Coolness! Nicw work! I'm surprised Mantell isn't better known. His fate is both the stuff of legend and an allegory to be read any number of ways.
I can almost hear that twelve cylinder Rolls Royce as it roars by! A very good likeness of the P-51, even the navagation lights are on the right wing tips. the only thing missing is the antanna wire from the vertical stabilizer top leading edge tip running to the base of the canopy, but man what a powerful rendition! It's gorgeous!! Even the sun comming off his 04:00 creating the shadows on the left side of the fuselage, wing and both vertical and horizontal stabilizers! WOW!! Off the subject for just a bit I went to Trade School with a David Martin, he should have graduated around 84-85. I graduated in 83, he used to call me Sarge. I don't say this lightly, A TRUE WORK OF AVIATION ART!! Glenn
Excellent piece- will we ever know if he was really chasing a extra-terrestrial?
