Description
Black labs are made to fetch. They don't mind getting wet going after a stick or ball, even in cold water. Perfectly happy and perfectly made creatures.
I have been wanting to do this image ever since my pup swam out to the raft after me up at mom's cabin in Wisconsin. She hated to have a bath but loved to swim in the lake. Go figure, lol. She is no longer with us but her memory lives on in me.
Hope this is not too dark as I have the contrast quite high. Let me know if you think it is. Thank you.

Absolutely Lovely image and a tribute to your beloved friend--Excellent!
Superb!
fantastic image. specially the little waves from the stick (and the dog swimming) as it hits the water from time to time.
Funny thing that, loves to swim, hates a bath, then if you manage to get them clean they rush off and go roll in the dirt and other nasty stuff ! Great scene and tribute for your four legged friend. LOL & ~Cheers~ :o)
Impressive last two images Nancy !!!
Ah yes, lab. I have a black lab. He is the happiest being I have ever met. If I'm ever down, I just have to go look at him. He is forever happy to see me, or anyone really. Loves to go and fetch things. He also loves to hit you with his head, man he has a hard skull. And do NOT bend over in front of him. He has a very curious, dangerous nose. :D But enough of that - you did this in BRYCE??? Fantastic. He's even got that stupid happy look Love it!
Labs are wonderfully civil creatures. Playful and intelligent. A wonderful render, a wonderful reminder of a loving companion. I took my cockerspaniel on a trail with me. Another spaniel dove in the water after a stick, mine, just looked at me like "that's okay, you swim I'll watch" Great detail! ~Michelle~
Lovely - a great sense of distance in this which I really like :)

Ah the wonderful fetching dog. They are so much fun. This is a very nice calming image, brings memories, too!!! Great job!!!
Excellent atmosphere and scenario. The fog at the end of the background sets a nice DOF. Magnific scene to remember your old friend. Dogs are some crazyy animals, they don't like either when you blow on their heads and the first thing they do when you put them in a car, is stick their heads out! I hope you have more time to come here now. Take care.
Outstanding !
