I ONCE HAD A BIRD
SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL
AND I LOVED TO LISTEN TO HER SING
I TOOK CARE OF HER
IN EVERY WAY
SHE WAS EVERYTHING TO ME
THEN ONE DAY
HER CAGE CAME OPEN
AND SHE FLEW AWAY
SHE FELT THE WIND
UNDER HER WINGS
SHE WAS FREE
I STILL LOVED HER
AND SHE STILL LOVED ME
BUT IT WASN
