Description
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
Friedrich Nietzsche
German philosopher (1844 - 1900)

Very interesting portraayal of this concept. Nice work.
Cool:) The trouble really starts when the tribe resides in your head.
Very kewl interpretation. :D
fantastic work!!!
A wonderful idea and superbly done! I love the pose of the frightened figure and the way you've represented the crowd :) EXCELLENT!!!
I love the way you've depicted Peer Pressure with the crowd on all sides, not one of the more used Nietzsche quotes, good to see others getting out. I agree with yarddog, especially when the self image the fashion magazine sells results in anorexia and bulemia, that's when you know the tribe has gotten too far into people's heads. I love the poses, expressions and contrasting lighting, Spectacular job!
Awesome concept and image Chris
Cool idea!!!!! Nice work. hugs ^_^
Oooh...cool idea Chris!
As the song goes, just gotta be me!! at least you used gals and not penguins like Gary Larson lol - Fantastic concept and great quote S
Cool, but the best book/philosophy I have ever read was "Mans Search For Meaning" By Frankel. He was in a concentration camp during WW II and said that hope keeps people living. Read his book.
Awesome Characters Chris!!!Merry Christmas!!!
