Description
Playing with 'big suns' and this is one of the first attempts I've come up with....
Terrain, surfacing, and water settings are mine. The sun was created using two tutorials that are in the forums.
I added the nebula to hide those dratted lines that come when you use a heavy atmosphere....Gives it a 'mystery' feel I think...
Enjoy and be gentle, this is my first 'big' sun...
Deepest thanks to you all for your continued suggesstions, help and support.
Be well and have a great week.
as always,
pat

Hmm all I see is a black screen pat.. something go wrong?
Interesting deep dark mood landscape!!! Mysterious!!!
I've only done one BIG sun and this one is has more definition. Excellent attemp (according to me) I like it!!!! :-)
Great first attempt Pat. Not easy I know. The only thing I could say here is that your nebula appears to come infront of the rocks too, or was that meant? Dark and foreboding place that one. Not sure I'd want to dally there too long! I see even poly and gon don't like to fly there! :o) Anymore coming?
Very dark and stylish.. Like this a lot...!
super skx, atmo, colors and effect!
I can't do it better, have done several attemps but it falls out to dark. Sweet regards Rosanne
very good work....think you may want to increase the sunlight strength a little bit to have a more define light source....no to much....by increasing the power to much you may loose definition....very good work amigo
One of your best renders=OUTSTANDING! Thank you for sharing,Patt and have a nice evening, Lior
Very interesting, Pat! Maybe I will try a big sun too! It seems that is not so easy! But I'm sure you will get it right soon! :)
It is interesting...and I am sure that you wanted shadows! For me is different and super done!*****!
I think this picture is too dark...turn on the light, please ;)
Oh so mysterious! Very nice. No, it is not too dark.
Ohhh.. Reverent and beautiful. Perfect light. Special.
super duper again pat!
Beautiful and well built all the way around!!!
outstanding mystical atmo! like a fantasy painting! ;o)
