Excellent macro with natural colours ! Very beautiful shot indeed !
beautiful macro!
A moth for sure! Lovely macro of the little guy with its beautiful color scheme. Its shape reminds me of a particular British delta wing bomber of old. The leaves came out nice, also.
Excellent work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely POV
I love the details you can get with the macros. Great shot. Amazing how its body is resting on its wings, at least that is how it looks to me.
What beautiful details. I love it when they stay still for us paparazzis ;o) Bunny

Beautiful!!!!!!! I think butterfly!
I thought it was moth too, until I read Leeco's post. A beautiful butterfly macro! You do such marvelous photography
Awesome! Marvelous!
Dear Richard. "Moth or butterfly????" Nobody told me there was a quiz today!!! Besides, lepidoptera is not exactly my favorite order!! (Too many creepy crawlers that make me stand of my chair!!) From what little I do know, I think it's a butterfly, but don't know what kind. Hmmm - looking back up, I think Leeco seems to know his stuff - so maybe my guess was right. Actually, with the delta planform it could really be a new heavily camoflaged miniature stealth recon aircraft - and the delta would help if it needed to make a supersonic dash to evade any felines that got too close!!! Really super macro work - "butterflies" are about the hardest thing on Earth to photograph - they have more problems than a two year old at sitting still!!! Love, Meredith
I surly enjoyed looking at this fellow! And a excellent shot it is!
