Top pair is the correct one. The bottom pair doesn't really work. I have a few of my own that I wanted to do this to. i just havent had the patience to render the image twice! Good work!
the bottom one is for people who view by converging their eyes - if it didn't work for you, you were probably crossing your eyes (hence the top pair worked) - at least - I think thats how it works.. :) - I cross myself..
I know its from perpective but the mountains and hill look like card board cutouts in the distance. Its the way the lightining is done need to put in some fill lights or add haze. but yes a stereo pair gallery would be lovely..
