Amazing! This is my favourite place! On the beach just before the storm hits! I often wish I were impervious to the weather, so I could sit there through the entire show. The wind and rain, the thunder and lightening! If you wait, as you listen to the approaching rumbles, a shoosing of the wind, there comes a moment, the longest I've timed is 63 seconds, where there is total silence! The thunder stops, the wind dies, and even the waves still! As if the whole world holds it's breath, waiting for the onslaught of the fury leashed within that storm! Just as it hits, a milisecond before the hair on your entire body rises to the electricity as the lightening is released from it's bonds and BAM! It hits! Thanks. BJ
