Description
Because of our last like in the heat of the day was exhausting, Terry and I decided to walk the lava flow in the early mornings where its much cooler. He came to my house at 2:30 am, got some ice and picked up two friends to join us in the hike. It took us only 1 hr to find some lava. Aloha and thank you for viewing

Wow, thats so cool to see, I have to see that one day in person.
Great shot Errol. But, we know it is still HOT HOT HOT there. Ah 2:30am, just like the old days of work. Oh Oh, I said a bad word. Just make sure you guys stay safe. Aloha
Like a great tongue of a dragon this is a great shot with Terry there to show the size and balance the image too
Seems like it would be easier to spot the red of the molten rock like this but harder to see where you were stepping... Great shot.
It must be mind blowing to see this creation and spectacle!! Thanks for sharing Sharkey!!
Super as always...like that red piece of lava! Can you send me some in parcel (ha, ha...joking)!*****!
Amazing shot, the flow looks awesome from here, I can only guess what it would be like in person. Great shot and background info sharky!!
I usually get up at 3:30 for my job so 2:30 wouldn't be all that unusual....but then I'm not hiking out on a lava field. Amazing! I'd still be scared to get within a hundred feet of that stuff.
wow so cool. It reminds me of the times I'd get up in the middle of the night to go bow hunting. Isn't it fun? :)
wowww, very nice picture, I like this natural color with this lava!!! Good day ;)
impressive !
LOL...Our get up time was 1;00 am for us. Terry lives about a 20 minuted drive away from me. MrsLubner, when its full moon, one can walk without flash lights. But with only half moon, we needed our flash lights in some areas especially around the lava ooze. Don't want to trip into the lava, lol. Aloha
And Terry is all glowing red again himself!! Nice your taking some friends to your favorite lava beds, hope they're enjoying it too, and don't mind if they're hair singes off their legs?? LOL!!!!!! Very cool shot Errol!!!!!!!
Teasing the dragon, very dramatic red colours against the black background.
Gee thats early!!! And you had to search for an hour?!! Hectic! Not sure if I'll have the motivation for that!! Lovely shot! Have a great week! 8;o)
Amazing that tongue of lava... and the figure in the backgroun too !
Looks like a giant, glowing tongue. Make sure you don't get licked!
It must feel incredible to stand on this! Is the smell overwhelming? What sort of temperature is it where you are standing?
Incredible render! 5*
