Description
Please forgive me if the quality isn't quite up to my usual standard. I took the shot with an inferior lens to the one I use now and through a window without a tripod. I live in a country setting with a woods next to my house. When I awoke early one morningthis past winter; I looked out my window and saw this Barred Owl in a cedar tree so I ran and got my camera. Unfortunately, this is the best shot that I got of this beautiful bird. As always, comments and critiques are welccome and appreciated.

Dont be so hard on yerself buddy the thing here is the way the backdrop blends in with the species habitat, and look at the lichen must be some good air where you live..
Nice photo indeed !
Wow, very intriguing shot. I especially like the surroundings, it all looks so natural. I think the natural-ness far outweighs what you descibe as lesser quality. Nice capture!
