Description
Nikon 7900 image.
Yesterdays images of a Damselfly and it's food was taken in the heat of the summer. This one was taken last week. It was pure chance that I came across another one of the little critters this blue damselfly was eating. It turns out to be a very pretty (but unfortunate) tiny flyer.
The full size image gives much better detail.

you are really good i capturing this beautiful damselflys and their prey!
Damn Lee, these are great..you have really developed a nack for capturing wildlife. beautiful presentation.
So, are you going to make a book of these beauties?!? You really should! I can see generations of kids wandering about with tiny scince kits looking for your friends. They are so vivid and beautiful. You make the most incredible captures of things most of us were totally unaware we share this wondrous place with! They all have a place in your work, and have made my wanders w/ my grand daughter amazing! Time consuming but amazing! We have to search every bush for the "tiny teensies", she loves your photos. She always finds something to ride her finger a while, until the next bush. Thank You so much for your inspiration to open our eyes and notice our fellow travelers. And the terrific shots of the ones we miss anyway ! Bj
