Description
I did some bird watching yesterday .. my D70 and I. Until Tiggy, my big black stripped cat decided to jump in my lap .. it was so much for that idea.
I want to thank those of you who took the time to write to me some very helpful tips and such for shooting birds ... I can't thank you enough and tell you how much that means to me. Afterall, that's what we're here for, right? To be the best we can be and to enjoy each others work.. and to learn from it all; and to keep our inspirations up and the drive to be even better.
Enough mush .. take it easy today, enjoy it all..looks like MN is going through some "Indian summer" now .. we're in the 50'sF here today.
Thanks for stopping by ... have yourself a great day!
Shari

Nice picture erland
Nice bird!
What a beautiful composition!
That is a great shot Shari not only into the sun you still got lots of detail and the pose is wonderful!
A very interesting pose. Was it feeding its young?
Actually that little fellow is not a chickadee, it's a nuthatch. It has a much longer beak and is a tree clinging species. :) Half of the time you'll see them walking upside down. They have an almost identical color scheme as a chickadee and at first glance is often mistaken for one. This particular variety is a White-breasted nuthatch. You'll probably see one of there cousins the Red-breasted nuthatch soon. I hope you were successful on your shoot today. Nice work. John
Great compo and pose indeed! And I love the tones! Bravo!!!!

I can't really help with the birds thing but lovely shot here - the background is very different.
Not only totally artist in your presentation, but this is one fantastic moment of capture. This images is spectacular.
I love the light of this pic and the bird, You are very good artist and love to see your gorgeous pics. Hugs my friend Shari
I like it. It has a great composition a good tone range, and I like most about it. is that its diffrent from ohter bird shots, the angle, food, and the light source behind to give it a great contrast. I really like most of your bird-photos. and think u have your own style there. =) and thats a good thing.
Excellent shot!
