Description
We saw this little fella ricochet off a window..when we found him..seemed dazed but was
moving around..picked him up and put him high enough up a tree to keep the bad guys from getting him...came back later and he was gone..want to think that he got his wind back and flew off...
Amazing how tiny they are...like picking up a piece of fluff..

Nice of you to save the little one :). Great shot, lovely birds.
Sometime they go to fast. Nice save and very fine shot. ;-)
Excellent and very detailled shot. I hope he's doing well!!
Hummingbirds are really cute. As birds go, the only ones I think are cute are humminbirds and ducks. I petted a hummingbird once. It made little cooing noises. Not sure why it let me pet it. It just sat there. Hope this little guy did ok.
She's a pretty little thing. Nice job. John
Great job saving this little guy from predators. This is the sharpest shot of a hummingbird I've seen! :)
Amazing story and shot. Great detail!!

They are tiny and so beautiful. You are very lucky to have held one in your hands.
I'd love to see this little fella, thanks for sharing, it is the first display I see of an inactive bird.
Lovely capture! Glad you rescued it! Bravo!!!
Excellent shot. I'm glad you saved him. Bunny
I have had the same experience, twice. It was before I got interested in photography (so no pics) but the amazement I had of how small they are when they are in your hand is refreshed by seeing this image. To the best if my knowledge, both of mine recovered just as yours did. Great photo and thanks for sharing.
Wonderful photo. Your saving hand to such a little creature.
wow, that looks more like a dragonfly with a feathers... I had no idea they were so small, awesome capture, well done.
