Description

This image was captured as the airplane was swooping down over a cotton field, just before the pilot turned the sprayer back on. The plane was about 100 feet away from my vantage point as it passed by and about 30 feet above ground. On its next pass, after this shot was taken - a distracted motorist lost control of her vehicle as she watched the plane swoop down over the field. Her car ended up sliding into the ditch, rolling onto its top, then flipping end over end, before resting in an upright position in the middle of the adjoining peanut field, in one of the most spectacular automobile accidents I've witnessed. Needless to say, I set my camera down and took off barefoot for about 100 yards at top running-speed, in the event any medical attention might be needed, but by the time I arrived at the scene, she had already stepped out of the still-running car, with no visible signs of injury, though she did get some glass from the broken windows in her mouth and sprained her neck just a little. I'll bet she is alot more sore today though! Anyway, I hope you have a safe and wonderful day, thanks for stopping by, especially for any comments you may share!

Super photo! Great bit of in the moment commentary too. The driver of the car was most fortunate, glad you were not in her path too. Excellent plane capture!
