Description

I had the good fortune to have this wonderful bird sit & just pose for me. His name is the Superb Parrot but they are also known as the Barraband Parrot, Parraband Parakeet, Scarlet-breasted Parrot or Green Leek. These are found in southern New South Wales & Victoria in Australia but as many other species in this world are under threat of clearing of forests & lack of regeneration of woodland habitat. Shame to have something so beautiful just disappear :( As always thanks for viewing & any comments you may wish to make.
