Description
Ladies and gentlemen I present to you (as promised), straight from France Park in Cass County, Indiana, the star of the woods, the SINGING TREE!!! And for your listening enjoyment you can actually hear this marvel of the forest! That's right, you will hear the Tree's wonderous vocalizations directly from its natural habitat complete with its own personal chorus of leaves in the breeze, a nearby stream, and birds and insects chirping as it fills the woods with its joy for 100 yards in all directions.

May this week find you with a song in your heart!
Thanks for looking (and listening)!

Impressive shot of the singing tree. I like the POV and the framing too!!
very good pov
I 'wood knot' have believed it, if I hadn't heard it myself. Wild animals, no....... just wild wood. That was so cool, and it really made you work for it too. But the hours wait was well worth it dear. OOK OOK.
Interesting pov. I feel like I'm looking right up its skirt! :-)
Way cool Ken. I heard it to ;-)
WAY cool!!! And that is a long sound clip!! How did you record it? I am looking for a portable setup..
Why is this tree making noises like that? It sounds like it's in pain, lol. The last time I heard a tree making it noises, it fell across the river right after we had canoed by. It was either up by the June Sprints in Elkhart, WI or Turkey Run...now I can't remember but I thought I was a goner, lol..
WOW Ken, sounds just like a plectrum raked across a big fat E string ! the Jimi tree ? nice sound guy techniques Cheers :o)
This is too cool. I love the song of the tree. The picture shows both bow and strings. Excellent!
Impressive and interesting upload ! :~)
