I never know what to expect when I click on the thumbnail, I just know it's going to be something clever and painstakingly creative! Even more baffling is the fact it's completely done in ZBrush, render and all! Great to see this from you tonight, and it's always a pleasure to see what you do next! When I saw the title of this one, I thought of the insects that appear in late summer, here in the US. They make a lot of noise at night, as David explained. Your image does look like a futuristic cricket player. One that has been set aside for many years and has rusted and gathered dust! They don't have cricket on TV here, but I've seen many matches in other countries, and it's a fun game with a lot of scoring. This image is sensational BTW, and must have taken days to create. Your work with ZBrush is amazing Cal, soon they'll be using your images to promote the program! Huge Fav!
