Description
Looking down the river some slight color of fall is showing. When the water is down, you will see trout fisherman along the rocks midstream. A record 18 lb. Brown trout was caught in this river further upstream. A dam several miles above controls the speed and depth of the water. Today, the water was high and fairly slow moving.
While looking for wildlife all were hidden; I found the river instead.

This looks so much like some stretches of the American River close to Sacramento and like this area, salmon fishermen crowd it hip to hip during the salmon run. But it works for catfish too! (my favorite) Lovely lazy river shot.
18 lb? That's close to 9 kgs, isn't it? A very respectable size for a trout - and a very beautiful spot to catch it in.... very nice light and reflections!

Get my lawnchair and pole ready. I always hang a little bell at the end of the rod to wake me from the short cat naps don't you know. I love fishin and this looks like a spot I might just kick back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery God has laid out for us all. Great capture, wonderful job!
