Description

Exactly what the title says it is: a leaf floating in a mud puddle. It's basically the same shit I do with frogs but with a leaf instead. This is my attempt at the "making the seemingly normal beautiful" genre and I think it's okay. It's satisfying, I guess, since this is about as un-flashy as you can get. Hopefully I'll be able to do more like this in the future. Just so you know, this has been photoshopped -- but not so you'd really notice it. The original was very grainy in places, so I carefully selected the grain and blurred it a little to get rid of it. This resulted in the dreaded "JPEG choppiness" when I saved the image so I had to go back and add just a tiny bit of artificial grain to the blurry bits to smooth it out. I also adjusted the brightness/contrast but I always do that, it doesn't matter. I will not answer troll comments from "purists" who object to my postwork. Thank you all for your kind words in regards to my recent images (can't believe "wee frog" and "jumble" got so much love!), and of course thank you for taking the time to view this one.
