My heart is on the heavy side tonight. So I do appologize if I write too much.
Life is not always black and white. Sometimes I wish it was even at my age. I still have a very simplistic view of life. I can not understand why the world is the way it is. Why do we always have to hate each other? I try my best to care and love others the way they are, even if I do not agree with them or their lifestyle or even religion. Why do so many want war? Isn't there enough dead already? Why do we need to wipe each other off the face of the earth?
I am sorry, I have never understood why hate is so rampant in this world. I do not want to ever feel that way. I am sorry I am venting! I guess that is why I never watch or read the news. I just can not take it all in. I can only ask God to give me a forgiving heart and try to do what it is I should toward others to bring comfort. Times are very uncertain and I just hope for peace and safety to all! May God Bless you all!

I sure understand the way you feel, Beth. IMO, we can do our best personally to live good lives, believe, worship and practice what we believe to the best of our abilities, vote according to the dictates of our conscience..and beyond that, we haven't any control. It's sad and tragic and disheartening to realize what's going on in this world, but hope, faith and the love of God can still provide light in a generally dark world and comfort and strength to endure whatever we have to endure. Beth please try to remember that God does not want us to carry all the weight of what is wrong in the world. He will deal with this. It is us who must try to do our best to grow with Him and our families. The weight of the world should not be on you. Prayer will help.
