Description
Last Saturday we went, as you probably know, to a Dutch province called Zeeland. Zeeland has a direct link to the Sea almost everywhere. The province was flooded in 1953 and more than 1800 people were killed.. anyway.. you can feel the existence of the sea wherever you go.. One of those places is called Neeltje Jans.. Until very recently this island was used for what we call the Deltawerken.. Anyway.. this seal is living there. This particular seal is almost blind..

Beautiful spots on this seal. Great photo, I love the colors.
such a lovely shot
He is so adorable and content in his world. One of those things about so many critters - they find ways to live with their afflictions and never complain... they are content to just live and breathe and be free. Wonderful capture here with good deal and nice compo.
Awww...poor blind seal. Didnt affect its cuteness though. Its still just as adorable as im guessing it was when being....a puppy? Gorgeous photo of him peeking up like that. Have a great night. #:o)
an adorable image !
Poor creature... but seems he has a good living. Those colours of the water are amazing !
Superb lighting and colours! Very nice capture!!! Bravo!!!
Very cute shot, love the expression and nice write up, very interesting :-)
Yeah, he's a cute critter alright, making the best out of what he's got I guess. Thanks for the background info/notes!
Great shot of this precious animal. The beauty of their pelts was once the reason why they were so hunted and killed. This one is simply beautiful. Hugs!!
Fantastic capture!
