The opening illustration for an article on mobile gaming for 3D World.
Adding some kind of face to the screen was contemplated at the early stages, but it was agreed that they exuded enough character without, relying instead on posture, which I was very pleased about as I have long admired this particular technique in others character work.

Thanks guys! - Mak - I spent a long afternoon modeling the phone character, textured it and the 2 variants over most of the next day, adding the additonal props etc too. The psoing and final renders were done on the next day - so maybe 2.5 to 3 days total.
Nothing critical to point out here... this is just way too good. Wonderful work as always, sir. :o)
