Description

518 twitched and moaned, trying to move. Capt Dokka Tkarro reached out a hand and put it on 518's shoulder. Dokka said, "518! Do not move! We're going to get you out of here!" Dokka looked up and said to Lieutenant Dakk, "Keep a watch on those stairs!" Dokka tried not to think of the crunchiness of 518's shoulder, or how his comm-band was laying in a molten puddle, guttering out in the light provided by the shuttle's spotlight. Neon leapt over and past Dokka and landed next to Jaeko's limp body. She could tell he was stunned and out, but not badly damaged. She slipped by Dakk, with a comment, "Excuse me, Lt. Dakk! Got to kill something! You can watch!" Dakk started and jumped as Neon slipped nimbly by him. Tall White-Lady ran up, tripping somewhat on the loose rubble and shouted over her headset vocoder, "She's an ally! Don't shoot her!" Dokka remarked wryly, "I thought you said you didn't now anyone down here, Tall White-lady!" Tall White-Lady put down the trauma-kit and knelt next to 518 and remarked ironically,"I must make friends quickly." Neon ran out to the stairs and looked down at the meelee she had seen with her mind and shouldered her weapon and drew down on the Cyclops Scout robot. ---TO BE CONTINUED!-- Much more to come!

You've got some very nice lighting going on here that give the picture a very classic sci-fi illustration look, which I like. Given the text for this page your lighting is splitting focus between the fg and mid-ground soldier. The shadow of the fg character is unfortunately minimizing the presence of 518. OK, I will recant just a little as I just looked at the full res picture (my bad). 518 is more noticed at full res. Given the text I would recommend a little more definition on your mg and bg characters. yours humbly, this hour's self-appointed lighting officer on deck. ; ) I look forward to the next one.

I agree with the lighting problems. With Poser6 however--it is not fixable. I can't see the frikking shadows until AFTER the render is rendered! I Wasn't going to wait ANOTHER 24 hours to re-render it, so I left it as is. Damn Poser preview window! Arrrrg.
