Description
A few times during my trip to Waipio I did hear gun fire but was unaware what was happening. See "Deep in the Valley" Then public outrage and cries in the newspaper of the shooting of wild horses and demanded it to stop. Everything came quiet and I did not hear of any more incidents. I did run into some wild horses before but they were really tame and friendly. They would just about stick their head into the truck window. The horse here are owned and used to tour the trails of Waipio Valley. The cost of the tour is $85 dollars. Aloha and thank you for viewing....

Yes, it is a shame they can't live together with the wild horses. They don't deserve to be shot when they are only trying to survive. I was heartbroken when I first heard about this. I love horses. Nice shot, I mean photo. Aloha
