Description

Greta morgane.. I am sorry but I did not find an English equivalent.. is a butterfly found in Middle and South America. I took this picture under harsh conditions and I mean low light conditions. But I did not want to use flash. I had to remove digital noise with neatimage.

A delicate beauty... you've done extremely well! Everything about the butterfly is lean and upright. Just beautiful. Your photo just makes you want to stare at the butterfly for hours.

Despite the low light it turned out excellent, a very worthy display of this exotic butterfly.

There seems to be 3 species of this Glasswing butterfly this may be the more common Greta Oto than the mountain species
