Description
Kites both red and black have featured in my Gallery on many occasions so no need to again tell you about the species, other than the Red Kite is native to the UK.. Taken in Germany recently where it is also fairly common and more nothern regions of Europe

Oh yes! Magnificent. Expertly executed shot - what a shame that all shooting of birds is not done with cameras. I hear men (and women!) go on about the thrill of the hunt and the skill of hitting the target but what could be more thrilling or skilful than capturing a perfect image of a bird in flight. Hats off to you for being a man with a camera and not a rifle.
Yes, I've been to Germany very recently and I saw them sometimes... but here..Holland.. they still are very rarely seen.. sad thing.. they are so beautiful as this picture shows so well.
