I wasnt sure whether to post this or not,but a good friend (Thanks Sandra) said go ahead, we are all suffering- in one way or another, we all are afflicted by war!... - We are All under ONE flag....The flag of Earth. Here sits a young lady - just thinking of her friend- and missing him/her in her life... No more needs to be said...

Okay you mad me cry :(( My cousin (who is also my best friend) is away due to this war and has been for a very longtime now.. I see him every now and again for a few days when he gets back state side but alas.. I miss him terrribly.. thank you for sharing this piece!

glad you posted it Anne, there is no need for war, in recent years certain countries have been dragged into war (including my own) at the heartache of the country's citizens as those often do not even want to be involved, its all politics based on revenge/power/religion (id like to see those polititions put on their uniform and join in the armed battles and face the possibility of death in the so called front line) Those who do battle have so much courage and my hat goes off to them but feel it is so unneccessary to do it in the first place and sometimes it makes matters worse, getting back to the pic, you have captured the heartache of not only the ones left at home but also not forgetting the emotions of those who are actually doing battle, lets hope we can all come to an understanding that the population of world should be able to live a peaceful life altogether regardless of peoples differences,...enough said me thinks :o(
